Coaching with Laura:
I am a Career/Life Coach, practicing Creative Art Therapist, and Fine Artist. Coaching allows me to use my talent and passion for helping people succeed by unleashing their creativity. Coaching is ideal for clients that are motivated to create enduring change in their lives. I help them create the change they dream about by:
- Helping them to identify what holds them back and to move past it.
- Showing them how to leverage their creativity.
- Enabling them to develop a strategy to achieve their goals.
- Supporting them in taking their personal and professional lives to the next level.
Coaching is different than therapy. In my coaching, I connect and guide clients to their own insight and solutions, rather than the treatment of emotional problems. What are the common elements? My skills of compassionate listening and empowering clarification.
Why I started Creative Visions Coaching, LLC . . .
Creative Visions Coaching embodies what I've learned in my life and career. In order to become your vision, you must live your life as that vision. To live fully, you must actively participate in your life rather than passively living it. I practice this in my daily life and I show people how to do it in their lives.
I work best with . . .
People who are motivated and who have learned one of life's biggest lessons--we are responsible for the results we achieve in our lives. I specialize in working with people in leadership positions and creative fields such as artists, creative arts therapists, designers, writers and professionals in entertainment. For example:
- Helping the organizational leader focus on the horizon instead of being bogged down by details.
- Supporting the Creative Art Therapist to successfully manage their business or private practice.
- Unlocking potential in the writer to complete their next work.
- Focusing the musician to create a career that is fulfilling on a financial and creative level.
- Helping the entrepreneur to make their vision for their business a reality.
